Why Are Jones Hunting Hats So Great?

It seems every year we get a lot of calls for Jones Hunting Hats. These popular hats were established in 1881 by the original Jones Hat Company of St Joseph, Missouri who advertised, “The Sportsman needs a cap that affords real protection and service under the hardest conditions." As with most old school popular hats they become harder and harder to find as they get replaced with the new and improved versions of hat styles and/or stop being made. But for those of you who've owned Jones Hats previously you don't necessarily want the new styles you want to replace what you've had and loved over the years. 

Thankfully we still carry a few...two different styles to be exact. If you've been searching for a Jones Hat you've come to the right place. Our first option is the Blaze Orange Jones Cap in 100% Polyester. It is foam lined and has the traditional ear flaps that fold up into the hat. This is a one size fits most sized hat. This Jones Hat has Expand-A-Band® Sizing which is a stretchable elastic band that runs around the inside of the crown. This band stretches to fit a larger head and helps keep the hat more secure on a smaller head. 

Our second option is the Water Defense Jones Hat. This hat comes in 2 different patterns, Blaze Orange and Realtree Max-5. It is made out of Nylon with Thinsulate™ (40g) Lined Earflaps and Crown. It also has a Dupont™ Active Layer Waterproof Liner and a Breathable, Durable, Water Repellent Outer Shell. This hat also has the Expand-A-Band® Sizing for a comfortable fit.
